This weekend will happen the third matchday of Spains Primera Division. Without a doubt, the most interesting game of the weekend will be the match between
Atletico Madrid and the
FC Barcelona. The game will take place the 19th of September at 7 p.m. in the Vicente Calderon Stadium of Madrid.
Atletico Madrid won their first two games, and finds itself for the moment on the first place of the spanish league. In the Vicente Calderon Stadium, the team of manager Enrique Sanchez Flores won 4:0 against Gijon, and the away game against Athletico Bilbao they won 1:2. The FC Barcelona, finds itself after two games played on the eighth place os the Primera Division. The catalan team won the first game 5:1 against Racing Santander (away), but lost their home game against the relegated Hercules Alicante 2:0. Last tuesday, the team of manager Pep Guardiola made a very good game in the Champions League against Panathinaikos Athens (5:1, Camp Nou).
Since the 20th of May 2007, Barcelona lost all its away games against Atletico Madrid.
