In the Hamburger "Millerntor" the long desired
Hamburg-derby between the FC St.Pauli and the Hamburger SV takes place on Sunday afternoon.
After their 3:1 win at Freiburg, the promoted
FC St.Pauli lost the next two matches without scoring a goal. They played quite well in both matches against Hoffenheim (0:1) and in Köln (0:1), but were very harmless in front of the goal. Quite surprising, considered that St.Pauli scored 72 goals last season in 2.Bundesliga. After a long injury absence, the strong physical striker Asamoah will be an option for coach Stanislawski in the Derby.
The
Hamburger SV has made only minimal changes on their squad this season (Westermann for Boateng) and subsequently started with two victories against Schalke (2:1) and at Frankfurt (3:1). But last Saturday the same problems like last season occurred, the HSV has difficulties against strong defending teams and had to be satisfied with a 1:1 at home against Nürnberg.
