After Wolfsburg finally has won a match, they want to continue against the shaken Hamburger SV on Wednesday.
Hamburgs good start with wins against Schalke (2:1) and in Frankfurt (3:1) followed soon the disillusion. In the last two matches the
Hamburger SV couldn't beat Nürnberg at home (1:1) and was lucky again when finished 1:1 in the Hamburg-derby at St.Pauli last Sunday. In both matches Hamburg seemed sluggish and with big problems in their creative zone. Against St.Pauli they could work out only two chances in the whole game.
Despite the most expensive squad of their club history, a new coach and a new system the
VfL Wolfsburg had a terrible start into the season. After three defeats coach McClaren changed the system back to the old, offensive 4-4-2 and promptly won the derby against Hannover 2:0 last Saturday. It's not a real surprise that the switch back to two strikers was successful, as Wolfsburg has an extraordinary offence with Diego, Dzeko and Grafite.
