The second matchday of the UEFA Europa League brings in Group L the fixture between SK Rapid Wien and Besiktas Istanbul at the Ernst-Happel-Stadion. Rapid started the group stage with a 0:3 at FC Porto while Besiktas celebrated a 1:0 home win against CSKA Sofia.

In the national championship Besiktas faces rank 2, the last round brought a 2:1 at home over Antalyaspor through a double score from Bobo.
