On the second day of the
Europa League Borussia Dortmund will try to beat Sevilla FC on Thursday evening.
After five wins in a row
Borussia Dortmund is meanwhile on the second position in Bundesliga. The young team delights by passionate, offensive football, with 16 goals in the last five matches they are a real goal factory. Also in their first match in Europa League they played attacking and won 4:3 at Kaparty Lwiw. There is a great euphoria in Dortmund at the moment, but the team is still very young and inexperienced in international football.
Sevilla FC have sacked coach Alvarez after they lost at Hercules Alicante last Sunday. Actually they hadn't lost a League match until then, but failed in Champions League qualification with two defeats against Sporting Braga and also lost their first match in Europa League 0:1 at home against Paris SG. New coach Gregorio Manzano, who became fifth in the Primera División with RCD Mallorca last season, has players like world champion Jesus Navas or striker Luis Fabiano in his squad, but Navas will probably miss the match in Dortmund due to an injury.
