Football - Turkey - Turkcell Super League - Week 9

2008-10-31
Here are 9th week matches of Turkish Super League! Week by week, it is getting more difficult to guess match scores because of heavy schedule. Although Turkish teams get used to play three matches per week, they can have problems with unavailable players. It is very useful to think every factors. So lets talk about the games:

Kayserispor – Beşiktaş :

Kayserispor is again so successful in the league this season. They are playing very well against big teams of Turkish Super League. This year they have drawn with Galatasaray and defeated Fenerbahçe on away trip. Especially former Wigan forward Julius Aghahowa and Turkish midfielder Mehmet Topuz, who is favourite of big clubs to transfer, are doing great job. Their defence line looks pretty good too.

Kayserispor - Besiktas JK:

After hiring Mustafa Denizli as coach, Besiktas JK lost its first home points. Although they have dominated the game vs. Sivasspor, they couldn’t score the second goal. Argentinian playmaker Mathias Emilio Delgado didn’t play in Fortis Turkish Cup Match. Nobody is sure whether he is play or not. If he is not, away team can have problem against such a strong home side. I don’t think away team will attack like hungry teams. One point is not so bad for away team.

So my pick is Kayserispor not to lose with 1,60 on Expekt.

Sivasspor-Denizlispor:

Home team is performing great this year as they did last season. Their goal is play in European cups next season. Last week they got a very valuable one point from away trip against Besiktas JK. They could win; but missed some great chances. Midfielders Musa Aydin and young Sezer Badur, strikers Mehmet Yildiz, Pini Balili and Herve Tum are on fire. They are especially playing very aggressive at home.

Sivasspor-Denizlispor

Well, away team will trip to Sivas for one point. Everybody in the team knows that Sivasspor is so strong. During the weekend, they were demolished with last minute equalizer in Fortis Turkish Cup vs 1st League Rival Manisaspor. Their squad is not so deep. Their home matches and some away matches will be decisive in their destiny of league. But I don’t think they will be successful in this trip.

So my pick is Sivasspor to win with 1,60 on sportingbet.
