R.Benitez before cup match said, that Carling cup is less important than Priemier league or UEFA Champions league. So almost all team‘s leaders were rested, except Agger, Fernando Torres (played till 56 min.), Alonso (from 66 min).

I don‘t expect a lot of goals at this match, because Bolton characterizes with strong defence which is hard to beat, especially at home. But in my opinion, it will be beaten in by Liverpool‘s available striking power, which has R.Keane and F.Torres at the front and midfielders who can whenever make goal — team‘s captain S.Gerrard and D.Kuyt who has several times saved team at the end of the match.
