Football , Spain, Primera Division: FC Sevilla – Valencia

FC Barcelona is setting new standards in the Spanish Primera Division with their best start ever into the league season. Among Barca’s pursuers FC Sevilla and Valencia meet each other on Sunday, the 23rd of November. Kick Off at 10 pm CET.
Valencia recently suffered a slight dip in form. Two defeats in their home games in the Primera Divison and a disappointing away-draw against FC Copenhagen as start into the Group Stage of the Uefa-Cup, meant a shock to their self-confidence. Being the only two games lost in this La-Liga-season, there is not yet a reason to worry, especially after their catastrophic campaign in 2007/08. Nevertheless Coach Emery insisted on not picking any scapegoats and blaming rather himself.
The fifth of the Primera Division, Sevilla, gets its strength from the defence, which is regarding only eight goals achieved together with Barca’s Defence the best in La Liga. In their recent home-games the Andalucians lost only once. Last season’s games against Valencia were both won. This time they are considered to be the favourite as well.
