FC Barcelona and Real Madrid will clash this
Saturday night (December 13th, kick-off at 10 pm) in Primera Division’s Classico. While Messi & Co joyfully look forward to this duell, chaos is reigning in Madrid. Coach Bernd Schuster has finally been replaced by Juande Ramos. Is he the right one to solve Real’s problems?
Pep Guardiola can be proud of his team. The recent games against serious title contenders were won in an impressive way. Now the all-dominating team in Spain faces the archrival from Madrid. A victory would be a huge leap towards the title.
Real has responded to the crisis even before Saturday’s highlight and sacked Bernd Schuster an appointed Juande Ramos as his successor. However, in spite of silencing criticism they fed critiques with even more material. Despite his successful premiere in the Champions League against St. Petersburg, it is widely discussed whether Ramos is able to solve the problems. The short spell with Tottenham didn’t turn out to be a success for the double Uefa-Cup-Winner with Sevilla and ended with the Spur’s worst start into a league season ever.
For most supporters president Calderon and sporting director Mijatovic are the true reasons for sportive failure. It seems like Real still faces a lot of turbulences.
Real Madrid won the last two games against FC Barcelona (h 4:1; a 1:0).
