Qualification Football World Cup 2010 - CONCACAF (North, Central America and Caribbean)

In the Continental Zone North, Central America and Caribbean a total of 35 member countries deny the qualification. There were two preliminary rounds which reduced the 35 teams first to 24 and then to 12 for the third round. In the third round the remaining 12 teams were placed in three groups of four teams. The top two teams in each group advance to the final qualification group, from where three teams will qualify directly for FIFA World Cup 2010 in South Africa and the fourth-placed team will compete in a home-and-away playoff against the fifth-place team from CONMEBOL.
