FIFA World Cup 2010 South Africa
In May 2004 it was ready at last. The FIFA Executive Committee decided that in the period from 11th June to 11th July 2010 the first time of the football tournament history of the FIFA the championship will be held on African soil. There will be 32 teams participate at the Worldcup (South Africa is already qualified). The other competitors were ascertained since August 2007 in the continental qualifications. The draw for the group stage of World Cup took place on 4 December 2009.
