SK Rapid Wien counts in the season finish as hardest rival for league leader Red Bull Salzburg. The record champion Rapid is only one point behind RB Salzburg. The direct meeting on matchday 33 could bring a preliminary decision in the title race, however, this week Rapid will host last year's champion SK Sturm Graz. Schöttel's side earned 7 points in previous three league games, the last round brought a goalless draw in the derby at Austria Wien. Manager Schöttel will miss Prokopic and Katzer through injuries.
SK Sturm Graz have only a small chance to defend the championship title. Currently they have a 8-point-deficit to league leader Red Bull Salzburg. Last year's champion Sturm Graz is the strongest home team in the tipp3-Bundesliga 2011/12, on the other side they are the second-weakest away team (1 win, 7 draws, 7 defeats) and hence Sturm Graz is only fifth in the table. Interims manager Thomas Kristl will have to pass on some key-players like Säumel, Dudic, Weber or Szabics.
