EQUATORIAL GUINEA
Equatorial Guinea is yet another one of these participants that made the cut to AFCON by the skins of their teeth in the qualifiers. Their return of 9 points from six qualifier matches was just about enough to see them through.

Les Elephant won it all in 2015 but have been coming short ever since much to the chagrin of the football-mad West African nation supporters.
Coach Patrice Beaumelle has a strong squad including a number of players from the top leagues in Europe and he will be looking to climb back to the summit of this continental showpiece.
