Tobol have never participated in the group stage of either of the UEFA club competitions. Last season they could not jump the hurdle at the third qualifying round of the Europa Conference League and the season before (2019-20) saw them losing in the opening qualifying round of the Europa League.
The Kostanay-based outfit did well to hold the Hungarian champions scoreless in that first leg but they will be hard-pressed to replicate the same form here.
