We will focus on a special Frapapa AFCON offer (🚨 Goal Rush🚨 ) and Bet9ja welcome bonus for our Africa Cup of Nations predictions for this match.

NIGERIA

Not so many gave the Super Eagles a chance before they even stepped foot on the shores of Cameroon. But the inspiring performance against Egypt has seen their stock risen over the last few days.

The Eagles were in control of the game against Egypt from start to finish. Even the presence of Liverpool striker, Mohammed Salah poses any threat, as Kenneth Omeruo and Troost-Ekong kept things tight at the back.

Going forward Simon Moses was a constant thorn on the flesh of the Egyptians and one his mazy runs down the right wing led to the chance created for Kelechi Iheanacho whose sublime effort rested in the back of the net on the 30th minute mark.

Austin Eguavoen’s has the full complement of his squad, except Omeruo who is touch and go following his injuries in the closing stages of the opening game.

SUDAN

Sudan also started their campaign on a positive note, although it could have been different had Pele converted from 12 yards to put Guinea Bissau in the lead in the final ten minutes of the encounter.

The Sudanese kept their opponents at bay for most of the game except for that nervy moment when Ali Elshrein gifted the Guineans a penalty. However, the chance was not taken and the Sudanese went home with a point.

Defensively, the North Africans were solid, but there was an acute shortage of chances for them at the other end. The chances are likely to dry up more with the Eagles who characteristic dominant Super Eagles.

Burhan Tia’s men are on a winless streak of 11 games and it could get even longer with tough fixture against Nigeria.

NIGERIA VS SUDAN BETTING TIPS AND PREDICTIONS

There has been a chronic shortage of goals in this tournament so far. Only Cameroon have been able to bang in the goals. Nigeria could also join them with the attack looking tantalizing.

Kelechi iheanacho and Taiwo Awoniyi showed chemistry and they played off each other against Egypt. With that kind of partnership upfront, Sudan’s back line may have a torrid time dealing with the Nigerians. Additionally the trickery of Moses Simon and Chukwueze will create chances for the Nigerians and they are priced at 2.07 to score in both halves on Frapapa.

The gulf in class between these two teams is quite apparent and for Nigeria looking to wrap up qualification in their second game, they will look to be rampant. Therefore, we reckon Nigeria will win with at least a two (2) goal margin. Bet9ja have the odds at 1.78 which is decent.
