LEICESTER
Leicester earned a convincing 2-0 win over European-chasing Southampton side with goals from James Maddison and a late one from Harney Barnes. This win momentarily helped them to leapfrog Liverpool into second place following their dour goalless draw with Manchester United. However, they had to be content with third place later on when Man City thrashed Palace 4-0.
That win over Soton ensured they maintained a 100% start to 2021 and extended their unbeaten run in the league to six games. A win here will see them climb back to second, albeit for just 24 hours with the Citizens expected to take of their business against Villa on Wednesday.
The Foxes home record has been less than impressive and coach Rodgers will be pushing his troops to make the most of their home games for the remainder of this campaign.
CHELSEA
Chelsea secured a laboured but much-needed win over 10 man Fulham to give a jolt to the quickly fading title challenge. They had lost four of the previous six games which all but knocked them out of the title conversations after they looked to be making a serious run towards the end of last year.
That win over Fulham eased some pressure off of Lampard but questions still remain about their manner in which they have totally and utterly failed to offer a sustained performance despite the money they splashed to bring in new players in the summer.
The race for top 4 is still up for grabs and Lampard will need to get the most from his squad to sustain this fight and possibly save his skin as he is likely to face the sack should they fail to at the very least qualify for the Champions League.

LEICESTER VS CHELSEA BETTING PREDICTIONS
Leicester home form has left a lot to be desired. Plus their recent record against Chelsea does not make for pleasant reading. This is perhaps why bookies have listed Chelsea as the favourites in this match. We beg to differ, however. The Foxes have been quite consistent on an overall basis compared to the visitors. They have played well against top teams and we feel there is value in backing them on the double chance @ 1.59 with 1xBet as our initial pick for this game.
Chelsea cannot keep a clean sheet to save their lives at the moment. The 1-0 win over a 10 man Fulham is their only one in nine matches, However, they do have some quality players up front that can cause the Leicester backline some problems. As a result, we feel there is a good chance both teams will find the back of the net and we are backing that option @ 1.73 with 1xBet as our final betting tip here.
