betting tip & odds comparison 19/07/20 AS Roma - Internazionale

Betting Tip for matchday 34 of the 2019/2020 Serie A between AS Roma and FC Internazionale Milano. The game will be played at Olimpico (Rom, Italy) on the 19.07.2020 at 21:45.

AS Roma v Inter Milan, Serie A

Matchday 34 in the Seria A sees Roma hosting Inter Milan at the Stadio Olimpico on Sunday evening in a critical game for both sides.

AS ROMA

After a somewhat lackadaisical resumption to the league where they lost three of the first four matches, Roma appear to have turned a corner and they looked good in their 2-1 win over Hellas Verona in midweek to make it three straight wins in the Serie A.

They are currently sitting in 5th place in the league and the gap between them and 4th placed Lazio is currently 12 points. With just 5 games remaining, a top 4 finish may be unattainable. But they will certainly be keen to hold off the Europa place they currently hold from the chasing pack.

INTER MILAN

A 4-0 thrashing of last place Spal in midweek propelled Inter Milan to 2nd in the Serie A with 71 points, just six off the leaders Juventus. With 5 games left and with Juventus struggling in recent games, the Nerazzurri will certainly feel they have what it takes to push them all the way to the end.

Inter’s top marksman Romelu Lukaku, who has missed the past couple of games after picking up a knock in the 2-2 draw against Verona, has reportedly made great progress in his recovery and Antonio Conte is hoping he can play a part in this clash, even if that means coming off the bench.

AS ROMA V INTER MILAN MATCH PREVIEW, BETTING PREDICTIONS AND TIPS

Both of these teams are coming off great runs. They’ve both won three of their five games. Inter, in particular, have been scoring goals for fun scoring at least 2 or more goals in seven of their last 8 matches. Roma meanwhile have also scored 2 or more goals in their last three straight games, all of which they won. These two teams always go all out at each other when they meet. We should expect the same here and if their recent scoring sprees are anything to go by, we should also see goals flowing. We are going for Goal Over 2.5 as @ 1.54 with Cloudbet betting app as our initial prediction for this game.

Inter Milan are second on the table, just six points off the leaders Juventus. Given that Juventus play their game against Lazio on Monday night, they can cut that lead down to three points and put even more pressure on them. This possibly points to them taking this game to Roma from the start. They’ve been quick off the mark, for the most part, this season and we fancy them to break the deadlock and score the first goal @ 1.80 as our final betting tip for this game.
