League leaders Bayern Munich host RB Leipzig on Saturday evening at the Allianz Arena in what is clearly the headline match from matchday 21 of the 2021/22 Bundesliga season.

The Bavarians lead the table and could possibly stretch the lead with a victory here. RB Leipzig meantime are experiencing a bit of a mid-season reset under the new manager and could possibly cause an upset here.

Our Bundesliga prediction for this clash will be derived from Betwinner and Melbet.

BAYERN MUNICH

As expected, Bayern are dominating the Bundesliga and all indications are they are well on course to defend their title yet again. A 4-1 thrashing of Hertha Berlin just before the international break ensured they maintained their six-point advantage atop the standings over second-placed Dortmund.

With Dortmund not playing until Sunday, Bayern can ramp up the pressure on them with a win here which will push the gap back up to 9 points.

Julian Nagelsmann’s charges have only lost thrice all season. Shockingly though, two of those defeats have come here at the Allianz. He will rally his troops against his former employers hoping to replicate the outcome from their first meeting of the season which Bayern won convincingly, beating last season’s runner up 4-1 in their own backyard back in September.

RB LEIPZIG

There has been nothing much worth writing home about RB Leipzig this season. They have been hovering around midtable for the better part of the season. The appointment of a new manager has nevertheless given them some impetus and their campaign has gotten a much-needed breath of fresh air.

Domenico Tedesco, the successor to Jesse Marsch, has won five of the seven matches he has taken charge of across all competitions. This run has seen them not only qualify for the quarter-finals of the DFB Pokal but also steadily climb up the Bundesliga log from 11th place when he took over to 6th coming into this game.

They are out of the running for the Bundesliga title this time around but they will certainly fancy their chances of getting themselves back in the Champions League qualification equation. This is a tough assignment but if they could escape with a point, which almost for all intents and purposes feel like a win for them!

BAYERN MUNICH VS RB LEIPZIG PREDICTIONS

Bayern seem to thrive for games like this. They always put their best foot forward whenever they come up against their close challengers or pretenders to the title. They made light work of Leipzig in the reverse fixture and despite the form that Leipzig is in under their new boss, we expect the Bavarian giants to handle them with ease. The 30-time champions have been scoring goals for fun and look on course to shatter their own record for the most goals in a season. We fancy them to continue smashing the nets here and we are backing them to score in both halves @ 1.73 with Betwinner as the first of today’s betting tips.

Bayern’s style of play entails high pressing, quick passes and sustained pressure from start to finish. This tends to see them dominate possession in just about every game they play. They have had at least 60% possession in their 5 H2H meetings against Leipzig at this venue. We have no reason to expect any drop-off in that metric. Melbet Bonus have them getting at least 58% priced at 1.83 and we feel there is terrific value here and we are going with it as our final tip for this game.
