England - Germany betting tip & odds comparison 26.09.2022
Betting Tip for matchday 6 of the 2022/2023 Nations League A between England and Germany. The game will be played at Wembley Stadium (London, England) on 26.09.2022 at 20:45.
Old foes England and Germany find themselves in an awkward position in the final round of League A Group 4 matches as they play in what is largely an academic fixture on Monday night with neither of them in a position to qualify from the group.
A 1-0 loss in Italy on Friday effectively relegated the Three Lions while Germany’s hopes of topping the group also went up in smoke when they also lost by the same scoreline at home to surprise package Hungary.
With nothing but pride left to play for, we can expect both teams to have a go for it here. Our Nations League betting tips today for this game will be picked from Bet9ja and Sahara Games

Despite the wealth of talent that this England team has been endowed with, they have been a massive disappointment. Reaching the final of the Euro 2021 tournament had many English fans’ expectations up the roof as to the potential of the team. Their performance in the Nations League however has turned these expectations into downright despair and disgust.
A fantastic Giacomo Raspadori goal condemned them to a 1-0 loss at the San Siro last Friday with the Three Lions failing to find the back of the net from open play yet again for the third consecutive game. They remain winless in League A Group 3 and their only goal in the tournament thus far was a Harry Kane spot-kick – which worryingly speaks volumes as to the depths they have sunk with the Qatar World Cup just around the corner.
England boss Gareth Southgate is under tremendous pressure as you would expect and a return to Wembley against one of England’s biggest rivals might just be what the doctor ordered as they try to get a result that will boost the morale in the squad that is seemingly below sea level at the moment.
Like the hosts, Germany isn’t doing much better. A brilliant backheel from Hungary’s Adam Szalai in the 17th minute of the game saw them succumb to a 1-0 loss in Leipzig, a result that left them third in the group, two points behind Italy coming into this last round of matches.
Other than the 5-2 thrashing of Italy back in June, Die Mannschaft have been largely underwhelming in this tournament, failing to win the other four group matches and failing to keep any clean sheet as well. A far cry from the standards they usually bring in international tournaments that has over the years seen them earn the christened name the “German Machine”
The Germans cannot reach the finals or be eliminated regardless of the outcome of this game and will therefore use the match as a prep for the World Cup.

ENGLAND VS GERMANY PREDICTIONS
With both teams knowing the outcome of this match is inconsequential in the bigger scheme of things in the Nations League, we can expect them to play with a much more carefree attitude. Both managers are likely to ring a lot of changes to their respective lineups to give debuts to upcoming talents that may not have had a chance to feature previously. As such we expect an all-out attacking display and despite the host’s struggle in front of goal lately, we fancy both teams to find the back of the net here @ 1.70 with Sahara Games as the first of our betting tips today.
As indicated before, Gareth Southgate is understandably under extreme pressure at the moment. There are already questions as to whether he should lead the team to the World Cup in the wake of their abject failure and the woeful form of the team in this Nations League tournament. He will demand a response from his charges here as he sets about choosing the final team for the global showpiece in Qatar. We fancy them hold the fort here and we are backing them to win or draw @ 1.37 with Bet9ja App as our final call for this clash.
