Juventus – Torino FC betting tip & odds comparison 28.02.2023
The 156th Derby della Mole takes place this Tuesday when Juventus welcomes Torino to the Allianz Stadium in Turin, with the two teams separated by just one point in the Serie A standings.
Juve’s 15-point deduction due to financial indiscretions has dented their hopes for a European place finish this season but they have shown they are ready to put in a fight in that respect to capitalize on any slip-up from the top 6.
We fancy a close encounter here. Our Serie A betting tips for this clash will be from Bet365 and Parimatch
JUVENTUS
Despite the penalty setback, Juventus have shown no signs of despair, racking up five wins in the last six matches across all competitions, and even more impressively keeping a clean sheet in five of the six games, conceding just a single goal in the process.
That goal came in the first leg of the Europa League playoff away at Nantes which ended 1-1. They however turned the tables on the French outfit in the return leg in Turin, winning 3-0 last midweek, thanks to a rejuvenated Di Maria hattrick, to book their place in the last 16. While it may look all gloom and doom in the league, the Bianconeri have looked terrific in cup competitions. On top of the Europa League success, they are also through to the semifinals of the Coppa Italia.
Massimiliano Allegri will still try to make the most of any opportunities to move up the ladder in the league and they will certainly want to get the win here.
TORINO
A 2-2 draw at basement side Cremonese is not exactly the kind of preparation expected ahead of this crucial derby. However, Juventus’ point deduction offers the visitors a glimmer of hope as they have not been this close to their crosstown rivals in a long time.
Torino have been on the receiving end of Derby della Mole at this venue, with their last league win away to Juventus going back as far as 1995. They have since lost 11 times in the 16 subsequent derbies played here.
With the top 6 in Serie A almost done and dusted, the Granata are 9th on the log at the moment and will be hoping to leapfrog Juventus with a win here. That might be a tough call though as they are up against an in-form Juve side. They on the other hand have a return of just one win in their last 5 matches across all competitions.

JUVENTUS VS TORINO PREDICTIONS
Juventus have dominated their city rivals over the years and we do not expect the status quo to change here. Inspite of everything, the Old Lady have one of the best defences in Europe at the moment and we expect them to keep things tight here especially to start this game. Torino have had their struggles in front of goal, particularly against the good sides. As such we are expecting a less-than-eventful opening half to this game which should give way to a more open 2nd half. As such we are picking Most Goals 2nd Half @ 2.10 with Parimatch as the first of our betting tips today.
TIP #1: Most goals in 2nd half
Juventus’ defence usually feeds their offence. The fact that they are able to hold teams at bay for prolonged periods offers their attackers opportunities to make it count on the other end. We expect this scenario to replicate itself here. They have scored the opening goal in their last 6 straight games. A repeat of the same pays @ 1.44 which you can place with your Bet365 first deposit bonus and we are picking this as our final prediction for this match.
TIP #2: Juventus 1st goal of the game
