Mali - Uganda ai prediction 14.11.2021 WC-Quali. Africa
Betting Tip for matchday 6 of the 2019-2021 WC-Quali. Africa between Mali and Uganda.
Having sealed their place as the top team in Group E, Mali will now wrap up qualifiers with a home game against second-placed Uganda.
We will explore odds from Betway and Betwinner sportsbook for our betting tips for this fixture.
MALI
Two first-half goals by Moussa Djenepo and Ibrahima Kone, and a late strike by Kalifa Coulibaly gave Mali a comfortable 3-0 win in Rwanda as ‘The Eagles’ progressed to the final phase of the African qualifiers for the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
Mohamed Magassouba’s men won their third game on the bounce and fourth in their last five to continue their good recent form and would be looking to keep that good run in their final group game.
Having won the group following Uganda’s draw against Kenya, the West Africans can afford to give rest to some of their regulars but the lure of finishing with a perfect home record might still be enough motivation.
UGANDA
Uganda’s push to make it to their first-ever FIFA World Cup crashed on Thursday after they failed to get a much-needed win against Kenya.
The Cranes needed a late strike by Fahad Bayo to cancel out Michael Olunga’s goal but it wasn’t enough to keep their hopes alive after Mali cruised past Rwanda in the other group game.
Facing the team that has denied them a place in the final phase of the World Cup qualifier, Milutin Sredojević and his team will see it as a chance to show what could have been, but it will be an onerous task against the Malians who are not under any pressure to get a result.
The previous three meetings between these two have ended without a winner and it wouldn’t be out of place to see this dead rubber game end in the same way.
MALI VS UGANDA BETTING PREDICTIONS
Having confirmed their place as the winners of the group, the game against Uganda is nothing but a mere dead rubber. Hence, the host might be tempted to field a second-string side.
However, given the form the Malians have shown they will still be good enough to earn a win to wrap up a perfect record at home. They have won all home games and this could also end in a win for the Malians. We are backing Mali to win on Betway Bonus.
For our second tip, the Malians will not be playing under any pressure. This will give them ample opportunity to express themselves and that could result in some attacking display. Therefore, we have our money on Mali to score at least two goals on Betwinner Review.
