Real Madrid welcome Inter Milan to the Alfredo Di Stefano Stadium on Tuesday night in a UEFA Champions League Group B tie with both teams angling for their first win in the group matches.

Real Madrid have surprisingly only picked up one point from their two matches against Shakhtar Donetsk and Borussia Monchengladbach to sit bottom of the group.

They will fancy their chances however coming into this match. They’ve shown their potential in La Liga, with back-to-back wins over Barcelona in the El Classico and a 4-1 thumping of Huesca at the weekend, which took them to the top of the table with 16 points from seven matches.

INTER MILAN

Like Real, Inter Milan, too, have had a slow start to the Champions League so far, playing out to back-to-back draws in their opening two matches.

They are not doing that well in the Serie A either, with just three wins in their opening six games. They needed another late goal at the weekend to salvage 2-2 draw with Parma in Serie A on Saturday, which has left them in the fifth position in the table.

Antonio Conte would certainly have expected a lot more from his team who not only finished second in the Serie A in his first stint but also went all the way to the finals of the Europa League where they lost to Sevilla. With Lukaku likely to miss this clash, he has little room for error.
