Liverpool FC - Atlético de Madrid ai prediction 03.11.2021 Champions League
Betting Tip for matchday 4 of the 2021/2022 Champions League between Liverpool FC and Atlético de Madrid.
Liverpool vs Atletico Madrid, UCL, 03.11.2021
Liverpool will be looking to book their ticket to the knockout stage when they host La Liga champions Atletico Madrid at Anfield for their Group B return leg on Wednesday evening.
The Reds won 3-2 at the Wanda Metropolitano last month and another win here coupled with will all but seal their qualification to the next round.
Chezacash Kenya offers great prices on this game and we will explore a couple of betting options from them in this preview.
LIVERPOOL
Liverpool’s 2-2 draw at the weekend at home to Brighton ended their four-game winning streak that had seen them go on a tear with 15 goals scored in those four games, claiming the scalps of big teams like their bitter rivals Manchester United who they thrashed 5-0 at Old Trafford and the reverse 3-2 win in Madrid against Atletico.
That win at Atletico’s backyard saw them racing to a 2-0 lead early in the half before a terrific Griezmann double pulled them back on level terms before the break. The Frenchman would turn from hero to zero as he saw red early in the 2nd half which allowed Liverpool to take control of the game and nick it with a late Salah spot-kick.
The Reds sit pretty at the top of the group after winning all three of their opening group games. Klopp, disappointed with the weekend draw, will be looking for a response from his charges here.
ATLETICO MADRID
Atletico, famed for their tenacious defence and memorable performances in this competition, have left a lot to be desired this term. They began with a dour goalless draw against Porto before barely winning at AC Milan and then the loss to Liverpool on their last outing. The return of 4 points from these games still leaves them second behind the hosts but they are literally clutching at straws as they sit above Porto only on goal difference.
A 3-0 win at the weekend over Betis in the domestic league came as a much-needed confidence booster ahead of this tie and Diego Simeon will be looking for more of the same here, despite missing the services of Griezmann who remains suspended for this return leg.

LIVERPOOL VS ATLETICO MADRID BETTING PREDICITONS
Whilst these two teams have been quite the defensive stalwarts in recent seasons, that hasn’t quite been the case this season. Both have been involved in some high scoring games, including the first leg that ended up with 5 goals scored between them. Offensively both have been quite good as they have a wealth of attacking talents at their disposal. Liverpool have scored 2 or more goals in their last 12 games across all competitions while Los Colchoneros have been prolific on that end as well with their last 6 games having similar returns. As such we do fancy both teams to find the back of the net @ 1.73 as the first of our two betting tips today.

That said, we feel the Reds will be keen to get back to winning ways and will therefore jump on the attack from the get-go. Their attack has been red-hot and it is difficult to see Atletico keeping them at bay for too long. Simeone will likely opt to sit deep and try and hit the Reds on the counter and that will invite the pressure from Liverpool who will duly oblige. As such, we fancy Liverpool to break the ice in this contest by scoring the opener @ 1.54 with Chezacash as our final prediction here.
